I am delighted to have been elected as the Town Councillor for Rushmills Ward. As well as being the ward councillor I also sit on the Environment Services Committee and Community Services Committee of Northampton Town Council.

Rushmere Road Crossing
When speaking with residents in Rushmills ward the safety of the pedestrian crossing at the junction of Billing Road and Rushmere road has often been raised as an issue with me.
That's why on behalf of local residents I spoke up on this issue at a meeting of West Northamptonshire Council.
I called on the council to listen to local residents and make the improvements that are needed before there is a serious incident. I said "This is about protecting individuals from harm. Doing nothing is not an option".
Deputy Leader of the council, Cllr Adam Brown said "He's [Cllr Soan] put this on the top of the agenda. He's campaigned hard on this and this council will take this forward."
